Covering Climate Now

Planet Friendly News (PFN) is a partner in “Covering Climate Now” (CCNow) — a global collaboration of more than 400 news media outlets with a combined audience of over two billion people dedicated to raising the profile of the climate change story. The collaboration includes major news organizations such as lead partner, The Guardian, CBS News, NBC, The Times of India, Time magazine, and Reuters, as well as scientific journals, climate research organizations, and smaller, digital, news media outlets. PFN contributes original content for sharing among the network and by the same token has access to stories and coverage produced by other partners which is available for republication. Co-founded in 2019 by The Nation and Columbia Journalism Review, CCNow enables media everywhere to leverage information about the climate crisis to ensure the most consequential story of our time receives the attention it deserves.
